The health department received an order from Arvind Kejriwal, who is being held by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with an excise policy case. The directive’s specifics were shared by Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj.
“Delhi CM is concerned about state health care. He worries that Delhi’s citizens shouldn’t have to suffer as a result of his imprisonment. The CM has been informed that some individuals are having trouble with the tests that are performed at the clinics in Mohalla. He’s given me instructions on how to handle this. Bharadwaj addressed a press conference, saying, “I want to reassure the people of Delhi that even though your CM is in jail, he is only thinking about you.”


Arvind Kejriwal issued his first government order from jail on March 24. He is now being held under ED remand until March 28. The directive pertained to the Delhi Government’s Water Department, which is headed by prominent party figure Atishi. In relation to the Delhi Liquor Policy case, Arvind Kejriwal was detained by the ED on March 21. Since then, he has stated that he will not step down as Chief Minister and will instead manage his position from ED prison.
In response to Kejriwal’s apprehension, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) issued a protest call on March 26 in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home in the nation’s capital. According to Delhi Police, the party has not yet received any authorization from them. Nearly two years ago, the AAP and its ministers were allegedly offered over ₹100 crores in bribes by liquor contractors, according to the central agency. AAP benefited from the Delhi Liquor policy, the agency informed the Rouse Avenue Court last week, and utilized ₹45 crore of the money during the Goa assembly elections.
The AAP has refuted the allegations of corruption, stating they were made up. Kejriwal was detained by the ED in connection with a case involving purported irregularities and money laundering during the formulation and execution of the Delhi Excise Policy 2022, which was subsequently abandoned.In addition to Arvind Kejriwal, several AAP figures are being held by the ED in connection with the case. These individuals include former deputy chief minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia and member of parliament (MP) for the Rajya Sabha Sanjay Singh.
