The dates for the elections to fill 543 Lok Sabha seats have been set by the Election Commission of India (ECI). Beginning on April 19, there will be seven phases to the elections, with counting taking place on June 4.
96.8 crore individuals are eligible to vote in the next elections at more than 12 lakh voting places, according to CEC Rajiv Kumar.
